ABOUT ME

My name is Breawna and I attend Arizona State University as an English (Writing Rhetorics and Literacies) student. I am currently on my last semester here and will be graduating December 2025! Finally graduating is nerve racking, as change can always be, but I am excited to start a new chapter of my life. With my degree, I have planned on becoming a technical editor for a publisher, which I would still love to do, but I also would love to teach children. 

 

I decided to apply to become a Writing Mentor in hopes to help any struggling students with their first college English course. It has been extremely rewarding being able to not only help students brainstorm and give feedback on their writing projects, but to see their continued growth throughout the semester. Connecting with students on their ideas for writing has made me a better writer in the process. I would have joined the Writer’s Studio team earlier if I knew how valuable it would be to me.​

 

When it comes to my hobbies, I love to read, play video games, watch horror movies, and crochet. I also love animals!
